Return and Exchange Policy
Returns and Exchanges (US)::
The policy below applies to all products except for Mystery Pairs Outlet items, and prescription items for US orders: You have 30 days from your purchase date to exchange or return your item for a full refund. We will cover all return shipping costs.
How it works:
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original condition.
- To start your return or exchange, visit https://returns.shadyrays.com/ and enter your order number along with the ZIP code your order was shipped to.
- Once you select the item(s) to be returned, you will have the option to Shop Now in-store for something new or get a refund. If you choose Shop Now, you will receive an instant credit for the full retail value of your returning item(s) to shop for something else on the website – no additional discounts can be applied through Shop Now. If you opt for a refund or store credit, it will be sent back to the original payment method or store credit via e-gift card when Shady Rays receives the return.
- Once your request is confirmed, we will send you an address to ship your item back to and a pre-paid shipping label.
- After we received and inspect your return, and confirm your item is eligible, we will ship your exchange or issue a refund to your original payment method.
- Refunds may take up to seven business days to process and be issued to your payment method.
Return and Exchanges (International):
The process above applies to all International orders as well. We will send you a pre-paid shipping label when applicable to return your shades and once we receive it we will provide a full refund for the full cost of the product less shipping fees. Refunds cannot be provided for mystery pairs or shipping charges. International exchanges can be done by returning the original item and then purchasing the style that you would like for your exchange.
Prescription Return and Exchanges (US only):
If you would like to return or exchange your prescription glasses, email our Optical Team at optical@shadyrays.com with your order number, photos of the glasses, and product details for your desired exchange, if applicable. We will send you a pre-paid return label to return your original pair to our optical lab.
Once we receive and inspect the condition of your glasses, and if approved, we’ll either issue your refund or initiate production of your new pair. Prescription exchanges typically take 8-12 business days to craft and ship. Refunds may take up to seven business days to process and be issued to your payment method.
Note: Both Prescription and Non-prescription exchanges must be for any item of equal value. We reserve the right at any time during the exchange process to cancel the order for any reason. If we cannot accommodate your exchange request, you will receive a full refund and are required to return (at our cost) any item in your possession.
