What does Lost & Broken cover?
If you lose or break your Shady Rays shades, readers, or limited edition shades, we will send you a brand new pair. Submit a replacement request and pay the applicable processing fee (max 2 replacements per item purchased within the first 24 months of purchase).
How do I start a Lost & Broken claim?
Start a replacement from the Contact Us page (select Warranty Claim) or through your Customer Hub. You will submit your request and pay the processing fee to receive your new pair.
What’s the difference between returns and Lost & Broken replacements?
Returns & Exchanges (U.S.): Return or exchange eligible items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Start your return at returns.shadyrays.com. Different policies apply to Mystery Pairs, Outlet, and select prescription items.
Lost & Broken is a replacement program if shades are lost or broken after purchase (processing fee applies; max 2 replacements per item within the first 24 months).
How do I find tracking info in the Customer Hub?
Sign in to your Customer Hub to track orders, view shipment status, and manage replacements and rewards in one place. If you checked out as a guest, use the order confirmation email or contact support with your order number.
Polarized vs COLORUSH — what’s the difference?
All Shady Rays sunglass lenses discussed here are polarized with 100% UV protection. COLORUSH™ lenses add color enhancement for red, green, and blue while aiming to keep a natural white point for richer contrast outdoors.

What does VLT mean?
VLT means Visible Light Transmission: the percentage of light that passes through the lens to your eyes. Lower VLT is darker (better for bright sun). Higher VLT lets in more light (better for lower light). Each product page lists VLT for that lens.
Are Shady Rays good for fishing, driving, or golf?
Yes. Polarized lenses cut glare from water, roads, and bright outdoor surfaces. Choose darker VLT for bright open water or midday sun, and check style collections for fishing and golf. Lost & Broken coverage is built for active use.
Do you offer prescription sunglasses?
Yes. Prescription sunglasses are available in the U.S. only on select styles. For prescription returns or exchanges in the U.S., email our Optical Team at optical@shadyrays.com with your order number and details.
Do you offer free shipping and returns?
