This includes all information, such as the end date, exam date, and/or doctor's signature (when applicable.) Any orders with an expired prescription or are not fully visible will be cancelled within seven days without a new prescription.

A versatile, durable rubberized black frame for active or casual use, with rubber nosepieces and snap hinges, complete with prescription lenses custom-made for you in our US-based optical lab. Includes signature hard case.
- Estimated crafting times for Rx orders: 8-12 business days
- Prescription Eyewear Replacement Program: Prescription orders are eligible for (1) broken replacement within a year of date purchased. Just pay a processing fee of $49.89 for VIP members or $54.89 for non-VIP. Valid prescription required. See full policy below for new and previous prescription orders.
- Returns & Exchanges: Prescription orders may be returned by contacting the optical team within 30 days of purchase for a refund or (1) remake if unsatisfied. You may email our team using the form here.
- Personal Care: A Shady Rays optical team member personally reviews every order to ensure that it will be made perfect for you. If anything needs addressing, we will reach out to you directly. We cannot fill any orders with an expired prescription so please make sure to check the expiration date before uploading your prescription.

BROKEN REPLACEMENTS INCLUDED
If you break your Shady Rays Prescription Eyewear within two years of purchase, we will send you a brand new pair – no matter what happened. Simply submit your replacement request and pay the applicable processing fee to claim your new pair (max 1 lens replacement and 2 frame replacements per item purchased within the first 24 months of purchase).
Limited Craftsmanship Warranty
Your prescription frame (lenses excluded) is covered under our Limited Craftsmanship Warranty within two years from purchase. If you experience an issue with manufacturing or craftsmanship, we will provide you with a new frame at no cost to you.
One-Year Scratch Protection
Shady Rays will provide one replacement for scratched lenses on certain prescription eyewear purchased from ShadyRays.com, without charge, within one-year after purchase.

"Been using them for about 2 weeks at the start of the Colorado summer and the cascades are great. Big enough to more than cover my eyes, feel sturdy, block super bright sunlight and colors of things still look realistic. Took them running and biking and they fit amazing and don't move like my regular glasses. First pair of nicer sunglasses I have ever had and really like these."

"I almost gave them a 4 but really, I get a perfect pair of prescription sunglasses with a really awesome red/orange reflective. My only personal "dislike" is that they weren't oversized. Being a woman, I know I bought a men's style, mainly because I wanted that polarized red/orange with the black frame. But this company is the ONLY one I could find that had prescription polarized sunglasses. Like I said, they are amazing. I love them and I love not having my eyes hurt anymore when being outside plus being able to see clearly. Usually, I have to pick between my eyes hurting in the sun with regular glasses or being essentially blind with nonprescription sunglasses lol and the fire colors are my favorite. Just wish there was a "cat-eye" or "butterfly"(not actual butterflies, just a more square cat-eye) style that was a little oversized."
