First 100 customers August 5 receive One Free Mystery Pair of Shady Rays sunglasses in celebration of the brand’s Louisville retail store grand opening

Free Shades for a Year, wearables, gift cards, and more will be raffled off during the event

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 27, 2023) – Louisville-area customers will soon be able to browse, try, and buy their favorite pairs of Shady Rays sunglasses when the company opens their newest storefront in Louisville next Saturday, August 5.

Located inside Oxmoor Center, the 1,542 square foot retail space will feature Shady Rays’ extensive collection of adventure and lifestyle eyewear for the whole family as well as all styles from the company’s recently-launched brand, Green Wolf premium golf eyewear.

To celebrate the grand opening of the brand’s fifth location, Shady Rays invites the community to a grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 5, 2023. A formal presentation and recognition will start at 9:30 a.m.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on August 5, the first 100 customers in-store will receive one free Mystery Pair of Shady Rays sunglasses. No purchase necessary, must be 18 years of age or older to receive one free Mystery Pair.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our loyal Louisville fans to our newest storefront at Oxmoor Center in St. Matthews,” Shady Rays Founder and CEO Chris Ratterman said. “This one is extra special for us, being in our hometown, just a few miles down the street from where the brand was founded a decade ago.”

Throughout the August 5 grand opening event, Shady Rays will be hosting additional drawings for prizes including Free Sunglasses for a Year, a collection of wearables and merchandise from Shady Rays, ticket giveaways, gift cards, and more. Customers can enter to win these prizes while they shop beginning at 10:00 a.m. Only one entry per person. Must be 18 years or older to enter drawing. The store is located in the Von Maur wing of Oxmoor Center adjacent to Anthropologie and will feature both exterior and interior entrances. The exterior entrance faces Shelbyville Rd.
