Job Title: Event Sales Manager

Shady Rays is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Event Sales Manager to oversee and enhance our presence at various high-profile events. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who excels in creating engaging event activations, driving sales performance, and managing the overall execution and staffing of each event.

Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage all aspects of event activations, ensuring each event runs smoothly and meets our high standards.

· Proactively coordinate travel and event staffing.

· Lead and motivate teams to achieve event sales targets.

· Manage all on-site event operations, including setup and breakdown.

· Drive increased revenue and profitability through strategic planning and execution of events.

· Regularly make recommendations for new event opportunities and innovative ways to enhance event success.

· Ensure all event activities comply with relevant legal, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

· Proven strong sales background with an entrepreneurial mindset.

· Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing teams.

· Strong organizational and project management abilities.

· Willingness to travel up to 75% during peak event season.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and be able to drive a truck pulling a trailer.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred, but not required.


Location: Must be local to Louisville, KY, or surrounding metro cities of Cincinnati, Indianapolis, or Nashville.

Salary: $55,000 per year + significant bonus opportunity.
